HAPPENINGS

As part of the nation’s celebrations for its 50th birthday and Goldbell’s 35th Anniversary, Goldbell has partnered with ISCOS on a project known as the “Learning Environment Assistance Project” (LEAP) to help 50 underprivileged households.

Through this partnership with ISCOS, Goldbell aims to enhance and improve the beneficiaries’ quality of life by creating a clean and conducive living environment for them. Apart from fully sponsoring the LEAP projects, we are also extremely grateful to have 26 Goldbell partners who have graciously volunteered their time to help improve the home study environments and living conditions of the underprivileged households.

On 27 June 2015, these volunteers got down on their hands and knees to spruce up the beneficiaries’ home, including upgrading the homes with a fresh coat of paint, scraping the walls, fixing broken furniture and setting up study areas for the children. Through these minor home refurbishment work and creation of home study areas, children of the beneficiaries can now have a comfortable study environment which allows them to maximise their educational potential.

The Goldbell Foundation Committee would like to thank these 26 volunteers for spreading kindness and compassion and taking the first step to join us in Project LEAP!
