Goldbell celebrated its first-ever Family Day on the 9th September 2017.
The air sizzled with excitement as we gathered at Sentosa’s Palawan Green in the bright, early morning.
Our Chairman, Mr William Chua, opened our Family Day with a quick speech, dedicating the day to our members and family, those who had stood by us through the good and tough times, with special mention of our guests, 2 of our beneficiaries; ISCOS and Kampong Senang. Following which, the event was kickstarted with an energetic Zumba session, getting everyone into high spirits for the day’s activities.
Thus, began our day of fun-filled activities, which included the Amazing Race and Wefie Challenge, where participants explored Sentosa in teams to complete various challenges within the designated time frame. The top 3 teams from each challenge got to win cash prizes! Additionally, families with younger ones partook in an intense series of tele-match games and fringe activities customised for bonding and relaxation, while many took to the game stalls in the hopes of scoring awesome prizes! Meanwhile, food stalls were a hit, with long queues forming for the Dragon Breath and churro stalls almost the same instant they opened. Kampong Senang even had a stall where we had to work an exercise bike to blend their thirst-quenching icy slushies. Even the children were entertained by the bouncy castle and a Magic Show with live parrots later on!
As the day drew to a close, the skies opened and let down a torrential rainfall. Despite that, spirits were not quelled while the Lucky Draw was held through deafening cheers for our winners and many colleagues walked away with cash prizes ranging from $88 to $2,888.
